Football Season 2012

Back in September Blake started his second season of flag football. He LOVES playing and
was so excited to be able to have Ryan and Uncle Rob has his coaches.
 The 49ers!
Front row: Ledger, Kenyon, Ethan, Oliver
Back row: Rob, Hunter, Trevor, Blake, Kolton, Tyson, and Ryan
Blake as the quarterback for this play throwing it to Kolton for a touchdown!
Running for a touchdown...
SCORE!!!
Our team ranked 3rd going into the tournament. We first played against the 2nd
ranked Patriots and won by 4 points!!
We then played the 1st ranked team the Cardinals! We hadn't been able to beat them all
season but ended up beating them in the championship game!!
Sadly I missed the tournament since Peyton was home sick, so Britany texted me this
picture of the 49ers after their BIG WIN!!

HALLOWEEN!

Halloween day was FULL of fun activities! We started the day
at school for the kids parties. Peyton and I went to Kenzie's carnival
in the morning. Her teacher Miss Bruce made such a cute Cinderella.
 Playing games to win prizes!
Kenzie had her cute friend Bailey.
 Cute cousins Kenzie and Hunter!
Later that day it was time to go back to the school for Blake's class party.
He was a little embarrassed that I was taking his picture... but that didn't stop me! ;)
At my station we played a Halloween "Don't eat Pete" game.
Blake and his sider cupcake he made.
 Buddies, Blake and Trevor.
That evening we had dinner at Rob and Amy's before
trick or treating. I pulled up to their house to see this...
Yep, Sean (batman) bought an old limo and re-did it to make a bat mobile.
Robin and Bane added to the Batman theme! They enjoyed driving around the
neighborhood in the bat mobile.
Best costume of the night = Effie Trinket!  (Alyssa)
Ashley and Peyton... by this point of the night I couldn't tell you
how many pieces of candy Peyton had!! She was in candy heaven!
Cotton Candy!! My favorite part of Trick-or-treating! :)
 Cute kids trick-or-treating!
Blake said that ASU fans would give the extra candy! ;)
Halloween was SO fun this year!
I love having busy schedules full of fun activities! :)

Trunk-or-Treat

Our ward Trunk or Treat was the Saturday before Halloween and the kids were SO
excited!! Ryan got there early to set up his "trunk" so Cassie and I decided to feed our
kids at home and then go for the games and candy!
Blake loves hanging out and wrestling Diesel and Wake, they are like two little
brothers for him! ;)
 Our kids...
Kenzie, Peyton, Wake, Blake, Diesel, and Petals!
These two cute divas have a love/hate relationship! They love to play but hate
to share babies and strollers! ;)
 Cute boys!
Blake loved this "booth", use a nerf gun to shoot down the cups.
The young women were doing face painting so Kenzie got her face painted like
a cat!
 Fishing game
Ryan's trunk. He made this pumpkin rot hours before the trunk or treat!
It had a fake fire going under the cauldron that was filled candy!
Some kids were too afraid to get "burned" if they put their hand in! ;)
Our wards Trunk or treat is always a fun time and the kids always
get WAY too much candy!!

Burr Halloween Party!

Last night for Family Home Evening we had our annual Burr Halloween Party!
Poor Peyton has been sick with coup so she and Ryan had to stay home. :(
Kenzie and Blake before the party!
Granna's cute table and decorations for the party.
Whenever all the boys get together they love to start up a football game.
Papa took the kids for rides in the trailer
Then we started all the booths...

Lexi and Jacob did face painting
 Cute flower!
Blake got a football painted on his face.
Then Papa loaded up all the boys in the trailer for a
"spooky ride." Jacob dressed up and came running after them on their
trailer ride! ;)
It was such a fun night and all the kids had SO much fun!

SEVEN?!

Blake is now SEVEN and I cannot believe it!
He is such a good kid that has a good heart and I love
EVERYTHING about him!
This year Blake had a lot of ideas that he wanted to do for his birthday...
1. Party at home
2. Sports party
3. everyone wears a jersey
4. and he had all the games planned out that he wanted to play at his party.
So I sent him with eight invitations to school that he passed out to kids in his class
and on his bus. This was the first year that I didn't really know a lot of the kids invited but
Blake was SO excited about it all!
Birthday morning started out early with presents and cinnamon rolls!
The party goers...
Bret, Colby, Jeremy, Trevor, Jayden, and Nate.
Decorating goodie bags!
Then the games began!
We couldn't find a blindfold so Ryan got creative...
and put some duck tape on an old pair of sunglasses! ;)
PRESENT TIME!
Happy Birthday!!
Peyton loved all the sweet treats she was getting into while I was busy with
the party!!
